Jersey Cocktail

Apple is the overriding flavour in the Jersey Cocktail and the bubbles from the cider gives the drink a gentle sparkle. The perfect drink to serve during winter holiday gatherings; it’s crisp, light and fruity with a delicate spicy finish.

Monkey Gland

Created in the 1920s by Harry MacElhone, owner of Harry′s New York Bar in Paris, the Monkey Gland is a gin-based cocktail made with orange juice, grenadine and absinthe.

Apparently, the cocktail was inspired by the experiments of Russian scientist Serge Voronoff. Long before Viagra, Voronoff was experimenting with various implants, the most famous of these was the grafting of monkey testicle tissue to human testicles. His hopes were to increase longevity, but his rather shocking technique only received considerable ridicule.  

Dirty Martini

A Dirty Martini is a twist on the classic martini cocktail that has long been a favourite of aristocrats, 1920s flappers and the well-known British spy. While there are several variations on the traditional drink, the Dirty Martini is probably one on the better ones.
