H P W

The H.P.W was created by the famous bartender “Charlie”, who worked in the Racket Club, New York. He named it after one of the club’s prominent millionaire members, Harry Payne Whitney.  It is similar to the Velocity cocktail, but the amount of each ingredient is reversed.

Velocity

Similar to the H.P.W, but the amount of each ingredient is reversed.  The velocity is heavy on the gin, whereas the H.P.W is heavy on the vermouth.
