Long Island Iced Tea

Long Island Iced Tea cocktail

Type: Cocktail

The Long Island Iced Tea was named for its visual resemblance to a non-alcoholic Iced tea. However, it couldn’t be more different in taste and alcoholic content, containing an array of beverages; typically made with vodka, light rum, tequila, triple sec and gin. Having the same hue as its namesake is the only similarity! This cocktail has a much higher alcohol concentration than most long drinks due to the relatively small amount of mixer used and the combination of several alcoholic beverages.
