Apparently, this drink was very popular in the Royal Air Force of the British Empire during the Great War. It was named after the famous bomb that was dropped from the bombarding planes, that caused mass panic amongst the German troops.
The Moscow Mule is a cocktail made with vodka, spicy ginger beer, and lime juice. Traditionally the Moscow Mule Cocktail is served in a copper mug and records indicate that it was created in Manhattan around 1948. A non-alcoholic version can be found in our mocktail section and is called a Virgin Moscow Mule.
An elegant drink that was created in the 1890s by Louis Eppinger, manager of the Grand Hotel in Yokohama, Japan. The recipe includes both orange and Angostura bitters which gives the cocktail a unique flavour and works perfectly with the dry sherry and dry vermouth.
