Pink Lady

Pink Lady cocktail

Type: Cocktail

The Pink Lady is a classic girlie and feminine gin-based cocktail with a long history. Its pink colour is down to the grenadine and it typically has egg white added, giving it a frothy texture. The exact origins of the Pink Lady are not fully known but some say it was inspired by the interior architect and prominent society figure Elsie de Wolfe 1865-1950. There are many differing recipes to be found – here is one.
